Privacy Policy

Glow Up Lady scores your selfie and builds a beauty routine around the result. Your face is about as personal as data gets, so the app was built to keep as little of it as possible. This page explains what stays on your phone, what gets sent, and what we never do.
- No accounts, no sign-ups, no passwords.
- Your scores, photos, routines and progress stay on your device.
- We do not sell your data, and we do not use your face to train AI models.
- Your selfie is sent to be scored, and is not kept once the score comes back.
There is no account
Glow Up Lady has no login, so we never learn your name, email address or phone number. Nothing you do in the app is tied to an identity, because there is no identity to tie it to.
Your photos and results
Your selfies, your scores, your routine, your streak and your progress history are stored on your iPhone, in the app’s own storage. They are not uploaded to a user account, because there is no user database. If you delete the app, that history is gone, and we cannot recover it for you — we never had a copy.
How scoring works
When you run a scan, the two selfies you took are sent to be analysed by an AI model, along with the answers you gave during onboarding (things like your goals and hair type). The model returns your scores and advice, and the photos are discarded once it does. They are not stored afterwards, not attached to any profile, and not used to train anyone’s AI model.
The same applies to the virtual try-on and the AI coach: the photo or message you send is used to produce the reply you asked for, and nothing else about you is attached to it.
Who processes your photos
Glow Up Lady uses AI models from Google, OpenAI, and xAI. These providers process what the app sends only to produce the result you see, under business API terms that do not permit using that content to train their models. The small service that passes requests along runs on Cloudflare, which may see technical information such as your IP address, as any website does, to keep the service running and block abuse.
Camera and photo library
The app asks for camera access so you can take a scan, and photo library access only if you would rather pick a selfie you already have. Nothing is sent until you tap to run the scan, and the app never browses your photo library on its own.
Subscriptions
Subscriptions are handled by Apple. We never see your card details. RevenueCat helps us count purchases and check whether a subscription is active; it receives a random, app-generated identifier, not your name or your Apple ID.
Analytics and advertising
We use AppsFlyer to understand which advert or link brought someone to the app, and how many people subscribe. This measures the app’s marketing, not you personally, and never includes your photos, your scores or your routine.
On first use the app asks whether it may track your activity across other companies’ apps and websites. If you say no, the app works exactly the same and we simply measure less. You can change this answer at any time in iOS Settings, under Privacy and Security → Tracking.
Notifications
Notifications are optional, and you are asked before any are sent. They are scheduled on your device — reminders about your routine, your streak, or a discount if you did not subscribe. You can turn them off whenever you like in iOS Settings.
Children
Glow Up Lady is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect anything from them.
Your rights
Because your data stays on your phone and is not linked to an account, you already hold all of it. Deleting the app deletes everything it stored. If you are in the EEA or the UK, the GDPR gives you rights to access, correct and erase personal data, and deleting the app is the fastest way to exercise them here. If you have a question about your data, write to us and we will answer.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will update the date at the top of this page, and say so in the app where the change is significant.
